Between November 9 and 12, over 300 SEIU Healthcare members from all over the province gathered in Mississauga for our 2023 Convention. This year’s convention was about our collective power to do more, and members embraced our “Yes We Can” theme.

We heard from amazing guest speakers, including former premier Kathleen Wynne, the leader of the Ontario Liberal Party Bonnie Crombie, SEIU International President Mary Kay Henry and Secretary-Treasurer April Verrett.

We also held panels where we talked about important issues, such as racial justice and the path forward from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Congratulations to Sharleen Stewart, Tyler Downey and Jackie Walker, who were chosen to lead our great union as the officers for the 2024-2027 term, and to all the members elected to help guide our work as your executive board.
